We are seeking on-call teachers, across all subject areas, to join our highly engaged, progressive, and professional teams in our Senior, Middle and Junior Schools: 

Senior School, Grades 9 to 12 
Middle School, Grades 6 to 8 
Junior School, Grades K to 5   
As well as a passion for teaching, the successful candidates will have the following skills, background and interests: 

Qualifications: 

A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Education. 
Holder of a current BC teaching certificate. 
An understanding of the BC Ministry of Education’s Competency-Based Learning. 
Experience with interdisciplinary, inquiry and project-based learning. 
A demonstrated ability to integrate technology to enhance learning. 
An understanding of current best differentiation practices and commitment to the needs of all learners. 
An understanding of students and experience working in a dynamic school setting. 
Additional qualifications for Junior School: 

An understanding of the philosophy of a Reggio-inspired approach. 
An understanding of early learning and the particular developmental needs of children aged 4   11 years. 
Key Responsibilities and Expectations: 

Willingness to be flexible, depending on the needs of the day. 
Must be a dynamic, engaging educator. 
Strong collaborative skills and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. 
Ability to take direction well. 
Must have a supportive, nurturing personality. 
Ability to document student learning using various tools and methods. 
Compensation:  

Daily range: $386.68 – $625.84 

Criminal Record Check: 

Must pass and maintain a clear Solicitor General criminal record check for the purpose of working with children.
