As an Admissions Officer, you’ll work closely with the Director of Admissions and Associate Director of Admissions to implement strategic initiatives that drive enrollment success. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and prepare for potential advancement to an Associate Director role while contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
Engage in strategic recruitment by representing our institution at events locally, nationally, and internationally while building meaningful connections with prospective students, families, and community partners. Plan and organize events, including open houses and yield activities, both on-campus and virtually, to inspire prospective students. Support admissions by assisting with application processing, conducting interviews, and contributing to decisions. Develop leadership by taking the opportunity to lead department meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: A degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience
Experience: 1-2 years (Admissions Officer) or 3 – 5 years (Associate Director of Admissions) in admissions, student recruitment, or related fields. Independent school or boarding experience is a plus
Skills: Exceptional communication, strong relationship building and proficiency with admissions software and CRMs. Fluency in a second language is an asset
Commitment: Willingness to travel extensively and work evenings/weekends during peak recruitment periods
What We Offer:
- The Admissions Officer role has an annual salary range of $57,000 to $68,000 with a comprehensive group health and employee benefits package including a company pension plan (The Associate Director of Admissions has an annual salary range of $100,000 – $120,000)
