Way to go Meadowridge School! Felicitations is owed to Arshia J. (Grade 9) and Akira Y. (Grade 10) for earning top three placement at the online Parlons! 2021 Competition. In five to seven minute speeches delivered in French, students were asked to reveal a problem and offer a solution to contemporary societal issues.

Aarshia (Grade 9) earned third place in a speech about the pandemic and its effects on people’s mental health, from children to elders. Akira (Grade 10) earned first place in a speech about the assimilation of immigrants in Canada and the United States. Keep up the good work Meadowridge!
