Vancouver, BC – May 12, 2015 – This August, Ian Yip, a 16 year old IB Student from Stratford Hall School, will join forty of Canada’s top young leaders on a Trade Mission to China. He and his fellow young Canadians will represent their communities and country on a delegation which will take them to one of Canada’s priority trading markets: China. This summer’s mission will focus on building connections between Canadian and Chinese business, government, community, and cultural organizations.
A key part of Yip’s experience is obtaining mandates, or objectives from organizations in the
British Columbia community. Partners will make a financial contribution toward the mission in exchange for information, research, contacts, and connections in the Chinese marketplace.
