This 70-hour course is certified by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators, the largest OG organization in North America. The training is composed of 3 modules, for a total of 9 sessions.
It consists of high-quality training in structured, multisensory language instruction that goes far beyond the basic level of teaching phonograms.
Participants learn advanced word attack and writing skills as well as comprehension and study strategies for teaching both elementary and secondary school students with dyslexia and other language-related learning disabilities.
This approach also gives participants the opportunity to learn the structure of written English, as well as systematic and multisensory teaching techniques.

Aberdeen Hall will be hosting the ISABC Conference on September 27th and 28th, 2018.
The Conference is open to colleagues in Marketing and Communications, Admissions, Advancement, Alumni and International Relations.
