Event Description: 

The ISABC Welcome Wagon Program (formerly the Newly Qualified Teachers Program) aims to provide teachers new to the ISABC with networking and collaboration opportunities. The program is structured around monthly online sessions that cover various themes in the teaching profession such as subject-specific resource sharing and teacher mental wellbeing. In the event that in-person sessions are possible, there will be three main full day pro-d opportunities; an initial session in the fall, a cross-school visit/observation day at another ISABC school in the winter, and a final session in the spring. The program aims to be tailored to the specific needs of new educators and hopes to provide a space for fellow teachers to connect and collaborate with other members of the ISABC community.
 
Aims
1.  To support and provide general professional development for new teachers and teachers new to ISABC Schools 

2.  To enhance and further the ISABC mission of collaboration, sharing good practice and creating a stronger collective body
 

Who? 
This program is ideal for those who are new to the teaching profession with fewer than two years of experience. However, this program is also open to those who are new to the ISABC and simply want opportunities to network with their new colleagues.
 
When?
Monthly online sessions.

If meeting in person is possilbe:
The first session will be held in mid-October: 
There will be a school visit in January or February 2021.
The second session will be held in the spring 2021.
