Collingwood School is pleased to offer this workshop for teachers in ISABC schools.
Greg Tang’s mission is simple. It is to help children and adults become good at math. He is an award-winning New York Times bestselling author, a highly sought-after speaker and educator, a designer of numerous math games and manipulatives, a contributor to Houghton Mifflin’s elementary math program, and the author of numerous children’s books including “Math Appeal”, “The best of Times”, and “The Grapes of Math”.
After watching too many children struggle to learn basic math concepts and skills, Greg was inspired to develop a practical, highly visual approach to the teaching and learning of math. His intuitive, common-sense approach to math is guaranteed to help strengthen your students’ understanding of math concepts and problem-solving skills.
This will be a worthwhile professional development and we would be delighted to offer this opportunity to other ISABC school members.
