Lori is a private educational consultant who writes professional materials for teachers, consults with school districts and speaks at conferences and other professional development events.  She is the author of several professional books such as “Marvelous Mini-Lessons for Teaching Beginning Writers K-3”, The Write Genre, Early Literacy Instruction in Kindergarten” and “Guided Reading Basics”.
 
Paul Kropp brings a unique perspective to his presentations by drawing upon his expertise as a writer and his twenty years of experience as a teacher. In these professional talks, he mixes humor with solid information for teachers and parents.  “The Write Genre, written by Paul Kropp and his wife Lori, offers ideas and mini-lessons to help students write personal narrative and persuasive pieces suitable for teachers of grades 3-8 or for high school audiences (material varies by grade level).
