The Head of Alumni Relations is responsible for planning and implementing programs and projects that strategically engage alumni in lifelong meaningful relationships with St. George’s School.

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about independent school education and able to demonstrate credibility, confidence, and political sensitivity. The individual will be adept at building relationships at all levels and will have very strong networking skills, experience organizing successful high-profile events, and a demonstrable track record of administrative activities at a responsible level.

 

The Head of Alumni Relations will be responsible for managing the School’s alumni network locally, nationally, and internationally and for helping  the School’s alumni to appreciate the tangible benefits of participating in programs that serve alumni, current students, and the School as a whole, as it strives to realize its ambitious Strategic Plan for the future.

 

In particular, the Head of Alumni Relations is charged with securing commitments from alumni to provide professional expertise, voluntary service and for bridging individual members with each other, the students, and the greater school community.

The Head of Alumni Relations reports to the Director of Advancement and is a senior member of the Advancement team. The Head also liaises with the Board of Directors of the alumni (known as the Georgians Board).
