Executive Director of Advancement
Southridge School

SOUTHRIDGE
Located in South Surrey, British Columbia, Southridge is a University preparatory day school with 668 students enrolled in Kindergarten to Grade 12. Founded in 1995 and having graduated our first class in 1999, we are a young but well established and very successful school, both academically and financially. Our School consistently ranks academically in the top 10 schools in the province, generally in the top 5, something we have achieved consistently since our first graduating class.

Our 17-acre campus offers separate Junior and Senior School buildings with over 110,000 square feet of first class school facilities. Each school houses its own library, gymnasium, science labs, art studios, music room, computer lab and Great Hall. Built of materials that will last into the next century, the granite, slate and brick components of the buildings make a strong statement about our belief in our future. We have built $25 million of facilities and paid our debt down to $8 million from $18 million in the past 10 years. Southridge already has nearly $1 million in endowments, even while being focused on building and debt repayment. We are very seriously committed to our mission - to develop students who will make a difference in the world.

Guided by our motto Omnis Anima Volet, (“Let Every Spirit Soar”), Southridge develops well-rounded students with a deep sense of personal integrity who have the moral character, love of learning and self-confidence to realize their full potential in a post-secondary environment and in society at large. Each student is encouraged and challenged to become someone who makes a difference in the world, through lifelong learning, community service, and critical thinking and communication skills.
