Early Childhood Assistant – Mulgrave School, Early Learning Centre

Mulgrave School is an IB World School located in West Vancouver, BC. We are an independent, non-denominational co-educational school, committed to providing an excellent academic programme for students in Pre-K through to Grade 12. Starting in September 2010, we will be opening our brand new Early Learning Centre for 3 and 4 year olds, a state-of-the-art facility, adjacent to the main school building.

We are currently inviting qualified and experienced educators to apply for a Classroom Assistant position at the Early Learning Centre. The expected start date for this position would be in late August, 2010. Mulgrave offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Applicants must be willing to pursue their Early Childhood Assistant Certification, an up-to-date First Aid training and undergo a criminal records check every five years, under the clearance of the school. Consideration will also be given to applicants currently enrolled in an ECE assistant course. Experience with Kindergarten, Montessori or the IB Primary Years Programme would be an asset.

Responsibilities will include working with the teachers with the delivery of curriculum. Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated capability to work positively within a team-oriented environment.
