Urban Academy is a growing New Westminster private school, currently located at two sites as we construct a new purpose-built school to house both our Junior and Senior Schools in one location. We are currently seeking to fill a full-time Administrative Assistant position. While reporting to the Head of School, the successful applicant will work with all members of the management team including Finance, Admissions and Advancement. General duties and responsibilities include:
• Support for the Head of School
• Administrative support for the school office at the Uptown campus
• Support for the developing Advancement department
• Support for the administration of Admissions and Marketing departments
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, IT skills and customer service skills with the capacity and desire to work in an environment of children and a parent community. Knowledge of the education industry is an asset. Application deadline December 19, 2017.
